Find out more about Farnham in Bloom and how the community gets involved.

Farnham in Bloom is the title of our entry into the annual South and South East in Bloom (S&SEiB) competition. It is an event that takes place throughout the year and involves local people and community organisations working together to make lasting improvements to the town and surrounding villages.

The competition is about more than flowers. Entries are judged on:

  • horticultural achievement
  • environmental responsibility
  • community participation

The Farnham in Bloom Community Group

The Farnham in Bloom Community group is a small team of dedicated volunteers who work alongside Farnham Town Council. The group is made up of local residents and businesses and help with the year round calendar of events for Farnham in Bloom as well as other activities such as bulb planting and litter picking.

The group is always looking for new volunteers. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining the group.

Sponsor a floral display

Sponsoring Farnham in Bloom is not just for businesses and is open to local residents too. Why not celebrate a loved one in a completely unique way and sponsor a hanging basket or trough in Farnham town centre?

Our floral displays are at their peak during the summer months and are a lovely way to mark a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary or even to remember a special friend or relative.
