We are embarking on a project to improve the playground and toilets at Gostrey Meadow.

We are consulting with parents/carers and young people because we want to create a playground that is accessible, more inclusive, and where children aged 11 and under can play safely.

Timescale

The initial project stages include:

• Consultation on equipment
• Tender for playground design
• Consultation on selection of preferred design

Planning permission for the toilets will take place in parallel with the playground project. Completion of the project is expected in early 2026.

In the meantime, we will continue to make remedial repairs to the playground and thank you for your patience.
