Emergency numbers

Who to call when you need help

Throughout a flooding incident information is available on the Environment Agency’s Flood Line 0845 988 1188. Once connected you need a subsidiary six digit code determined by where you live. You are advised to obtain this well in advance. Clearly, the 999 emergency number for Fire, Police and Ambulance services is applicable all the time as are some other useful numbers. However, there are some numbers that depend on the time of day and whether or not there is a major incident, in which case Incident Centres may be open.
