2024 will be the 15th year for the Farnham Pilgrim Marathon which is one of the most popular marathons in the south of England. When it started in 2010 it was voted Best New Marathon. It is a very pretty trail, from The Sands, Farnham, following the Pilgrim’s Way, to Guildford as far as St Martha’s Church in Guildford, and back by a different route. Runners think it is enjoyable, but challenging, and they are helped along by an enthusiastic team of marshals. It is a great opportunity for individual fundraising, and the event itself supports a range of local charities.
