Farnham Town Council has been working with Waverley Borough Council and Surrey County Council to identify and implement proposals that will bring significant social, economic and environmental benefits by creating a town centre which improves general traffic flow and provides pedestrians with wider pavement. 

There will inevitably be some disruption caused by the implementation of the town centre improvements under the Farnham Infrastructure Programme (FIP). On some occasions, roads will be closed for a period of time for works. As a consequence, alternative routes resulting in slightly longer journey times.
