A new residents’ guide has been published and is being distributed by the Royal Mail to all households in the Farnham Town Council area.

The 22-page guide, which is subsidised by advertising contains contact details for all councillors who cover the Farnham area, a guide to the services provided by Farnham Town Council and a review of the past year’s achievements and aims for the coming year. There is also a comprehensive, four-page guide to community events notified to the Town Council, which are taking place in Farnham between now and December.

Councillor Jill Hargreaves, Lead Member for Tourism and Events, says: “Farnham is a great place to live and whether you are new to the town or you have lived here for many years, there is always something new to discover. Our guide reveals some of Farnham’s hidden gems and useful nuggets of information. We do hope you will enjoy finding out more about our wonderful town.”

Copies of the official residents’ guide are available at key information points around town and can be viewed online.

The residents’ guide complements the biennial Visitors’ Guide and the pocket-sized Visit Farnham map.
