Electors who live or work in the Farnham Town Council area are invited to attend the Annual Town Meeting on Thursday 26 March.

The meeting will take place at the Mercure Bush Hotel from 7 to 9pm and is a chance to find out what the Town Council has achieved during the last year and what it has planned for the next 12 months.

The Mayor of Farnham, Councillor Jeremy Ricketts will chair the meeting and lead councillors for key areas such as tourism and events and community enhancement will each give a short presentation.

Councillor John Ward, Spokesperson for Farnham Town Council says: “Last year over 80 people attended the meeting and we enjoyed a lively debate about issues such as the Farnborough Airport airspace consultation, parking charges, air quality and the Gostrey Centre. There is always so much going on in Farnham that I am sure this year will be an equally thought provoking meeting.”

Electors are free to ask any questions and make any comments about issues relating to Farnham. If the matter is not a Town Council responsibility, town councillors present will do their best to answer the question or follow up issues with the relevant organisation.

To help with catering arrangements, anybody wishing to attend is asked to email Farnham Town Council or call 01252 712667.
