Local charity The Hedgehogs are inviting music fans to enjoy ‘Opera in the Garden’ in aid of Naomi House & Jacksplace who provide hospice care to life limited children and young adults.

The concert on Saturday June 15, hosted in a private garden in Tilford, will feature Rogue Opera’s singers and pianist who will take the audience through a journey of opera’s greatest music and characters. Highlights will include Puccini, Mozart, Verdi and Bizet, creating a fabulous opportunity for opera lovers and first-timers to be immersed in the magical sounds and stories.

Hedgehog organiser, Peter Greenyer, said: “We are so thrilled to be bringing Rogue Opera to Farnham music lovers. They have performed all over the UK and thanks to their livestream events have fans as far afield as New Zealand! Listening to beautiful music in an English garden – we can’t think of a better way to raise money for such worthy causes.”

Audience members are invited to bring picnics to enjoy on their own blankets or chairs, or there are a small number of premium covered seats in a marquee. Tickets start from £38. Tea and coffee will be available to purchase along with free parking on site. The event starts at 3.30pm and finishes at 8pm.
