Badshot Lea Bloomers is an active group that organises litter picks, bulb planting and other activities to brighten up the community. The group also organises working parties at Badshot Lea Pond. A few years ago the Bloomers created Badshot Lea Community Garden which is now a flourishing community garden with allotment spaces to rent, heritage hops grown, areas for biodiversity and a thriving wildlife friendly pond. They hold community events such as an Easter egg hunt and pumpkin carving. Badshot Lea Bloomers won Level 4 Thriving in the It’s Your Neighbourhood category of South & South East in Bloom 2023.
