Free guide to living in Farnham

Householders and businesses throughout Farnham and surrounding villages have received their copy of the latest Residents’ Guide. The 36-page booklet is the official guide to living in Farnham and includes a six-page events section, featuring details of dozens of community events, many of them free.

Councillor David Attfield, the Mayor of Farnham, says: “We’ve put all the useful and important information our residents like to know about in one place. Our aim is to help residents get the most out of the services they pay for through their council tax and enjoy the benefits of a lively and community-focused town like Farnham.

“Look out also for our calendar of events. There is loads going in Farnham so do get those dates in your diary so you don’t miss out!”

Inside is an A to Z directory with contact details for all the services provided by Town, Borough and County Councils plus a ‘Useful to know’ section that gives the answers to the questions residents most frequently ask the Town Council.

“You will also find details about how to contact your local councillor so if there is a local issue that you would like your elected representative to know about, do get in touch with them,” says Councillor Attfield.

The Town Council updates the guide each year. The publication is paid for by advertising and is delivered to all properties. It is also available to download from the Farnham Town Council website.
