Paula Dunsmore, Farnham Town Councillor for Wrecclesham and Rowledge has been elected as the new Deputy Mayor of Farnham.

She was elected by councillors to take on the role of supporting the Mayor of Farnham for the remainder of the 2018/19 Council year. The vote took place during a meeting of the Full Council on Thursday 26 July and sees Councillor Dunsmore taking over from Councillor Jill Hargreaves with immediate effect.

Councillor Hargreaves will carry on in her role as the lead member for Tourism and Events and will be busy with supporting the new Events Officer over the next few months.
