Instead of buying chocolate eggs this Easter, Farnham Town Council has an alternative gift idea that will bring months of pleasure.

Every year, the town is decorated with over 200 hanging baskets and for £60, a basket can be dedicated to someone special. The sponsorship includes the cost of watering the basket and maintaining the flowers and plants so they look their absolute best while on display between June and October

Councillor Stephen Hill, Lead Member for Farnham in Bloom says: “The hanging baskets offer a long-lasting gift to somebody special. The flowers in the baskets come in an array of gorgeous colours and contain begonias, geraniums, callabracia, bacopa, petunias and fuchsias. It really is a gift that keeps on growing!

“In addition to the basket, the recipient’s name will appear on the Farnham in Bloom sponsor board in South Street, next to the wall of famous names between June to October.”
