Gin and coffee is on the menu at this month’s Farmers’ Market!

Coffee lovers will be pleased to see the return of The Roasted Bean Company and their delicious coffee made from responsibly grown green coffee beans. Farnham Town Council will be giving a warm welcome to new stallholders Black Cat Brewery and their locally distilled gin and the Wholesome Bakery who will be selling spelt cakes, loaves and vegan carrot cake.

Councillor Jill Hargreaves, Lead Member for Tourism and Events says: “One of the most appealing things about the Farmers’ Markets is that there is always something new to try. By eating with the seasons you can add variety to your diet. At this month’s market there will be a good mix of seasonal food and locally produced drink and items such as pickles, sauces, baked goods, jam and muesli.

“The stallholders are extremely knowledgeable and are happy to talk to customers about their products.”

As well as being able to buy food to take home, shoppers can enjoy live music from Kai Jensen and light refreshments from the charity tea tent, which will be hosted by Frensham Guides.

The Farmers’ Market will be held on Sunday 26 February from 10am to 1.30pm at Central car park. For more information visit our Farmers’ Market pages.
