Local people are invited to roll up their sleeves and get down to Hale Cemetery on Saturday 9 March for a community clear up with Farnham in Bloom.

Councillor Matthew Brown, Lead Member for Environment says: “We are looking for a few volunteers to help spruce up the award-winning cemetery. Tasks will range from litter picking and general clearing to tree planting.”

The event is suitable for families and all equipment and refreshments will be provided.

The clear up takes place between 10am and 12noon. There’s no need to register – just turn up!
