The Extreme Mountain Bike Show returns to Gostrey Meadow in Farnham on Wednesday 9 August.
Riders will impress spectators with their bike handling skills as they bunny hop, balance on narrow beams and launch themselves off ramps.
This is the third year running that Farnham Town Council has hosted the summer holiday show which aims to provide free entertainment for local youngsters.
Throughout the afternoon there will be three shows starting at 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm. In between performances there will be a meet and greet session so that youngsters can chat to the riders who include five times British Men’s Champion and European Champion Danny Butler and his team mates Joe Oakley and Rob Poyser.
Councillor Kika Mirylees, Lead Member for Community says: “The summer holidays are long and with many families feeling the pinch, more will be looking for quality ways to entertain children that won’t cost the earth.
“The Extreme Mountain Bike Show has always been very well received by our younger residents, so we are pleased to be able to offer a repeat of the experience. To make the afternoon accessible to all, we’ve also arranged for a free hoppa shuttle bus to transport people from various location in the north and south of Farnham. We hope everybody who attends will be able to enjoy what promises to be a memorable afternoon of free entertainment.”
Families are encouraged to bring along a picnic to enjoy in the award-winning, Green Flag park or to treat themselves to a bite to eat from the Funky Pickle, an ice cream from The Icicle Bicycle or a hot drink from the Coffee Can.
