Walkers are in for something special at this year’s Farnham Walking Festival which runs from 13 May to 4 June.

The Mayor of Farnham and Kidd Rapinet, Principal Sponsor of the summer programme of events, recently met with some of the walk leaders at the official launch of the three-week festival. The volunteer walk leaders talked about their favourite routes and the wonderful sights people can expect to see when taking part in any of the 30 walks.

Councillor Alan Earwaker, the Mayor of Farnham says: “This year’s programme includes new walks in and around Farnham. There are walks in the town centre as well as the countryside. The festival caters for all abilities, interests and fitness levels so there really is something for everybody to enjoy.”

Andrew Kingston from Kidd Rapinet says: “As a keen runner, I love being outdoors, so I am delighted we are supporting the Farnham Walking Festival and helping to provide opportunities for people to take part in an organised and sociable activity that is great for health and wellbeing.”

Most of the walks are free and do not require booking. View the full programme.
