Farnham Town Council’s free gardening workshops for children will return this half term.
The Bloomin’ Kids Gardening workshops are part of the Farnham in Bloom project and will be held from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm on Thursday 26 October at the Town Council’s greenhouses in West Street. The workshops will include lots of green fingered fun including bulb planting, crafts and mini beast hunting.
Councillor Stephen Hill, Lead Member for Farnham in Bloom says: “The workshops are completely free and are most suited to those aged 6 years of age and above. Aspiring gardeners will have the chance to take part in a number of seasonal activities whilst learning exciting facts and practical skills. Places are limited so please be sure to book early.”
Farnham in Bloom is sponsored by Specsavers in Farnham. See further details about the workshop and how to book.
