The ballot to apply for tickets at this year’s Civic Christmas carol concert has opened.
The traditional service will be hosted by the Mayor of Farnham and will take place on Thursday 8 December at the Farnham United Reformed Church in South Street.
The service will include carols, five lessons and performances by the highly acclaimed Farnham Youth Choir.
Councillor John Ward, Mayor of Farnham says: “The Civic Christmas carol concert provides an opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. In previous years, it has been a very popular event so, to avoid disappointment, I urge people to enter the ballot without delay.”
As in previous years, half the tickets will be allocated via a ballot that is held in partnership with the Farnham Herald. The remaining half will be given as a token of thanks to volunteers from local organisation for the contribution they make towards making Farnham such a vibrant community.
A pre-service reception will be hosted by the Mayor of Farnham where all guests will be offered complimentary refreshments.
To apply for tickets, please complete the coupon in this week’s Farnham Herald. A second coupon will appear on Friday 2 December.
