Supporting farmers

Red apples on tree.

Visitors to this Sunday’s Farmers’ Market are encouraged to treat themselves to a freshly cooked Hunts Hill Farm pork and ale sausage. Twenty per cent of the takings will be donated by Hunts Hill Farm to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute, which is a charity that assists farmers in difficult times.

October is traditionally the month when Apple Day is celebrated and Ringden Farm will have a variety of fresh tasty apples. Two new stallholders will also be attending the market. Wild Things will be selling flowers and floral decorations made from natural, biodegradable items and The Art of Curry is a fresh, gourmet curry sauce producer.

The Red Cross will run the tea tent and musical entertainment will be provided by Patrick Webber.

The market will be held in Central car park on Sunday 25 October from 10am to 1.30pm. See our Farmers’ Market page for more information.
