Visit the pop-up museum

Visit Farnham Town Council this month for an opportunity to discover what life was like in Farnham during World War One.

A new initiative by the Museum of Farnham will see a pop-up museum appear in different parts of the community throughout the year. Starting at the library last November, the pop-up museum is bringing the town’s history out into the community.

Councillor Jill Hargreaves, Lead Member for Tourism and Events says: “We are delighted to be able to host this exhibition. Visitors will be able to see some fascinating items on display including a whole World War One trench ration biscuit. There is also an opportunity to make a model fighter plane from a paper kit!”

The pop-up museum will be at Farnham Town Council until 27 February. To see more fascinating exhibits, visit the Museum of Farnham on West Street.
