The Mayor of Farnham, Cllr Jeremy Ricketts is holding a series of coffee mornings for residents who live in each of the town’s nine wards.
Residents are randomly selected and invited to join the Mayor, ward councillors and other people who live in the ward for a discussion about issues affecting the area. Questions can be asked about any issue affecting Farnham. If the matter is not a Town Council responsibility, the Mayor and town councillors present will do their best to answer the question or follow up on issues with the relevant organisation.
Cllr Jeremy Ricketts, Mayor of Farnham says: “We have been holding the Mayor’s coffee mornings for a number of years. My first coffee morning was for residents from Castle and Moor Park. They discussed topics ranging from overhanging vegetation to the successful events held in the town. The initiative is a fantastic way for the Mayor to meet the people who live and work in the town.”
Anybody who is invited but unable to attend can request that a particular is raised for discussion. Further information about Farnham Town Council and its services can be found on its website.
