Farnham Town Council is inviting makers of jewellery, crafts and gifts to take part in the town’s first Christmas market on Sunday 14 December, which is being held alongside the regular Farmers’ Market.
The Christmas market will be held in Castle Street and at the Mercure Bush Hotel from 10am to 4pm. The Farmers’ Market will be held in its regular location at Central Car Park from 10am to the later time of 3.30pm.
Cllr Jill Hargreaves, Lead Member for Tourism and Events says: “So far, the combined Christmas market and Farmers’ Market has over 100 stalls signed up to take part in the market. We have a few pitches left at The Bush, which would be a perfect location for people wishing to sell more delicate or perishable items.”
The festive market will include food to buy and enjoy while shopping as well as produce that can be bought and savoured later or given as a gift. There will also be beautiful, handcrafted jewellery, Christmas decorations and gift wrap, fashionable winter accessories, chocolates, ceramics and handmade, natural toiletries.
To find out more about having a pitch, prospective stallholders should visit the Christmas in Farnham pages or call Steph King on 01252 712667.
