A buzzing Farmer’s Market

Purple lavender. Close up of bee.

An observation bee hive with live bees will be displayed by Fleet Bee Keepers’ Association at the Farnham Farmers’ Market on Sunday 28 September.

The Association will also be selling honey and will inform people about the bees with their knowledge and informative displays.

The market will also welcome new stallholder Mrs B’s Bees who will be selling honey from Alton, beeswax and beeswax candles and polish.

Councillor Jill Hargreaves, Lead Member for Tourism and Events says: “The monthly Farmers’ Market will be a lovely way to conclude Farnham Town Council’s fortnight long Feast of Food. Many of our popular and regular stallholders will be attending the market to sell local produce ranging from tasty cuts of meat to the freshest fruit and vegetables. Some of the stallholders will have been at the Food Festival on the day before so there will be plenty of opportunity to stock up on juicy autumn fruits and seasonal produce.”

11th Farnham Scouts will be providing teas and coffees at the refreshments’ stand.

Farnham Farmers’ Market is held on the fourth Sunday of every month in Central car park between 10am and 1.30pm. To find out more about booking a pitch or for more information see our Farmers’ Market website pages.
