Photos wanted for town guide

Cameras and gadgets with built in cameras were popular presents this Christmas. Farnham Town Council wants to capture the enthusiasm for photography by inviting residents to enter their pictures into the competition to find the best images for Farnham’s official town guide. Images of Farnham and the surrounding villages are needed to freshen up the design of the new guide. These could include stunning sunsets, sunrises, iconic buildings, architecture, views, events, Farnham life and people. The best overall image will be considered for the front cover. The town guide is produced every two years and is aimed at visitors and tourists. It includes details about places to stay, information about surrounding villages, heritage, art and culture as well as a guide to things to do, places to visit and sport and leisure activities. The competition closing date is 31 January. Up to ten images can be submitted.
